According to EN standards, the critical fall height of playground equipment requires the equipment to be mounted on a surface that is appropriate for the fall height. Warranty periods by product category:
Steel posts: 25 years warranty against tearing and loss of strength
Steel cables, aluminum cast parts, stainless steel, and unpainted metal components: 20 years warranty against breakage and durability issues
HPL panels, HDPE panels, rotationally molded plastic parts, other metal parts, composite coatings, precast C25 concrete, corrosion-resistant (paint-free) surfaces: 10 years warranty
Rigid plastic (injection molded) parts, plywood panels, nylon ropes, springs, cord-reinforced rubber, PVC-coated platforms, premium woods (Thermowood, Sapelli, Accoya), fiberglass-reinforced concrete: 5 years warranty
Bearings, structural bolts, moving and plastic-metal parts, electronic components, rubber and elastic polymer parts, pine and similar woods, laminated larch woods: 2 years warranty (including an additional 1-year extension)
