CASTLEWOOD SERIES- MGCS 202

Castlewood is a modular wooden playgroup series that consists of multiple castle and medieval themed play stations. Some elements such as slides, slide poles and ghost slides are designed as target stations and located on semicircle metal balconies. Children are expected to go through rope climbing stations that challenge their physical skills to reach the target play elements. Thanks to the role-playing areas created under the platforms in accordance with the theme, it is aimed to contribute to the social development of children and to provide a fairy-tale castle theme experience.

FIGURES

Various figures are designed and placed both to depict the theme of the product and to allow children to experience a fairy tale world, feeling like princes and princesses looking out of the windows of their castles.

Slides

Sliding surface of the equipment is made of UV resistant High Density Polyethylene Sheet which is an alternative to stainless steel slides in sunny environments. Sides of the slide is HPL or HDPE with rounded edges.

ROLE PLAY

As an important element of the middle ages, the hand cart is planned as a role playing area. The handles are specifically positioned to provide the feeling of lifting the hand cart. The hand cart station provides a pleasant socialisation area to solidify the castle and middle ages theme.

MINIATURE WALLS

Children like spaces private to them. Knowing this, areas under the platforms are encircled with miniature walls to utilise these closed and unused spaces for the children to adopt and play with their toys.

UNIQUE ROOF

The unique roof figure designed on basis of castle walls and pennants is the inspiration point of the product and provides an iconic figure which distinguishes the product.
