NAVIWOOD
A modular wooden play group range comprised of ship themed multiple play
stations inspired by the treasure island concept. In addition to broken wood
pieces, theme specific graphics and role playing areas are used to consolidate
the shipwreck effect in order to contribute to social development of the children
in a narrative providing them an experience.
Stations like slides, firefighter’s pole and ghost slide, termed as award goals, are located
at higher platforms in the products, in order to help develop static positioning and
balance of children, as well as their space and dimensional awareness.
Children are challenged to overcome difficult rope climb stations in order to reach award
goals. The rope bridge and rope climb systems placed to entice children to take part in
active play not only help strengthen muscle structure of children, but also are intended to
contribute to their physical development by climbing and ramp elements aimed towards
developing their rough motor abilities.
