CASTLEWOOD SERIES- MGCS 202

Castlewood is a modular wooden playgroup series that consists of multiple castle and medieval themed play stations. Some elements such as slides, slide poles and ghost slides are designed as target stations and located on semicircle metal balconies. Children are expected to go through rope climbing stations that challenge their physical skills to reach the target play elements. Thanks to the role-playing areas created under the platforms in accordance with the theme, it is aimed to contribute to the social development of children and to provide a fairy-tale castle theme experience.

Wood

Wood

In our designs, premium wood species such as Iroko, Sapelli, and Larch (Larex) are used, combining aesthetics with durability. Iroko, known as African Teak, provides long-lasting use in playground equipment by showing natural resistance to decay and external factors with its high oil content. Sapelli, recognized as African Mahogany, maintains its form for years thanks to its dense fiber structure and high mechanical resistance, while Larch (Larex) offers superior resistance to water and moisture due to its resinous nature. The natural strength of these woods adds both timeless elegance and structural integrity to our products against the harsh conditions of the outdoors.

3 Stages Coating

3 Stages Coating

The metal parts are made of ST 37 steel with a 3-stage coating process (including sandblasting and primer). The sandblasting, solvent-free zinc primer coating, and electrostatic powder coating provide corrosion resistance under extreme weather conditions and UV exposure.

Chains

Chains

Chains used for swing applications are manufactured from chrome, prioritizing safety and durability. They provide high resistance against outdoor conditions. Chrome chains prevent rusting while also providing protection against surface wear. Offering a long service life, these chains are ideal for a safe and trouble-free experience in swing systems.

ICO Rubber Material

ICO Rubber Material

ICO rubber material is a high-durability component designed to create impact-absorbing surfaces beneath swings and playground equipment, aimed at enhancing safety by minimizing the risk of injury during critical falls.

Robot Joint

Robot Joint

The robot joint is a specially designed, high-durability rotary connection system that prevents finger entrapment. The upper swing joint mechanism is manufactured using the investment casting technique. It will be fixed with M12x80 bolts between two lugs welded onto the two carrier pipes that provide the oscillation, and teflon bearings will be used to prevent wear.
